Thanksgiving in Kansas City!

We had a great time visiting the Arehart and Bross families in Kansas City over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was great to see everyone! Thanks for the hospitality!

One of the highlights was heading to the Plaza to see the annual lighting of the town. We heard music, did a countdown and saw all the lights! It really got us in the Christmas spirit!

Here's the new art over the fireplace. It has a lot of the same colors as the house but adds some circles.

Tom's favorite part was using the laser level. I dare you to find a non-straight thing in that house!

All Moved In!

It's been a couple of weeks, but we're starting to get it all together! Here is our first house-warming present. Susan (and John and the kids of course) sent it to us! It looks great in our back entry way. Thanks Bernals!


I know...I know...a shower curtain. This was one of my wedding presents I was saving for our first house! It was so fun to get it out and decorate the bathroom.
