Foundation

The foundation is set! Mom and Dad came up to check it out! We had fun stomping around in the mud looking it all over!

Blueprints

This is the layout of the house.

Here are a few photos of the blueprints for the house. They may be a little small, but will give you a very general idea of the layout.

Exterior Color Scheme

The photo is a little dark, but here is the general idea. The siding is Putty (that's the vertical large sample you see), the Shake Shingle is the one with ridges (it goes on the peaks of the garage and the other end of the house), the champagne (lightest color) sample you see is the trim, the oval is the garage door color and the square in the middle of all of those is the roof color. We also went with tan windows, which should pop nicely off of the champagne trim.

More progress! The walls were formed on Wednesday (1/20) and poured on Thursday (1/21).

Moving Dirt!

We met with our project manager, Steve, today to finalize a lot of the structural parts of the house. He let us know they had broken ground so we went out to take a look. Progress!
